NHTV named as the only Dutch university in world's top 50 hospitality schools

NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences is the only Dutch university to rank in the top 50 of QS world rankings of best universities for hospitality and leisure.

17 nations are represented in the top 50 of QS World University Rankings 2018 for Hospitality and Leisure, with NHTV rising 11 places to 26th, reaffirming its international reputation for excellence in hospitablity education and global outlook. NHTV has strong partnerships with many institutions in this top-50. Over 1,100 educational institutions worldwide were evaluated for the ranking.

QS is one of the well-known publishers of university rankings worldwide. They publish their overviews of best universities every year: general listings, as well as listings by category. For the subject ranking, the universities are evaluated on a combination of academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper and h-index, a measure for the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist or scholar.
