The University of Groningen offers a wide range of courses in international law at the Masters level taught by dedicated and experienced lecturers. The Faculty and University have a long standing tradition of law education as far back as 1614.

The programme in Public International Law provides a strong foundation in most fields of public international law. Our mission in teaching not only focuses on conveying specialised knowledge, but also on enhancing students’ academic research skills as well as oral and written presentation skills. It provides a strong basis for starting or enhancing your professional career in an international law environment, be it at the national level or in the United Nations and other governmental or non-governmental international organisations.

The international LLB and LLM programmes of the University of Groningen attract students from all over the world.
