A supply chain can be seen as a network of organizations working together to fulfil customer orders. It is a flow of materials, information and services. Effective supply chain management and logistics can provide an organization with competitive advantage. 

The one-year Master's programme focuses on the design and coordination of supply chains and on planning and controlling supply chain operations. You will learn to develop supply chain theories, models, methods and best practices. This knowledge and these skills will help you increase supply chain quality, flexibility, and reliability. In addition, you will be trained to increase delivery speed and efficiency in the order fulfilment process.

You will be trained to define, diagnose and analyse supply chain decision problems. You will also learn to propose and evaluate effective solutions. In addition, you will be trained to deal with relevant trends in technology and ICT, sustainability and market trends such as Internet sales.

Job perspectives

After graduation, you are ready for a career as a supply chain manager. You may find a job as a logistics, purchase or quality manager in a production, distribution or service environment. You may also become a consultant in the supply chain management practice. Alternatively, you might opt for an academic career and start as a PhD researcher.
